【PUMM Hosts ‘2021 Young Entrepreneurs Model Figures’ Networking Dinner at Central Region】

On 1st August 2023, Malaysia Entrepreneurs Development Association (PUMM) organized the ‘2021 Malaysia Role Model Recognition’ Luncheon Gathering at Copper Mansion Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event aimed to gather the award recipients of the 2021 MRMR awardees within the central region, celebrating their outstanding achievements and showcasing their entrepreneurial backgrounds and stories to the media and the public. There were around 40 guests in attendance, including the MRMEA 2022 awardees, MRMR 2023 nominees, outstanding entrepreneurs from various industries, press media partners, state committees and PUMM members.

Mr. Tan Lay Seong, the National President of PUMM, delivered the opening speech, expressing gratitude to all the guests and media representatives for their unwavering support and attention towards PUMM. The MRMR 2021 book, created over a two-year period, provides detailed accounts of each MRMR awardee’s entrepreneurial journey, along with valuable contact information and commemorative content. It serves as a source of inspiration and learning for young entrepreneurs, encouraging them to fearlessly pursue their own ventures and showcasing the exemplary achievements of these role models in their respective fields.

Mr Nelson Beh, PUMM Deputy President and the Organizing Chairman of the ‘PUMM 30th Anniversary cum Central Committee Installation & 2023 Role Model Recognition Night,’ presented the award’s details, selection criteria, and nomination process. This award comprises three categories: Role Model, Star Role Model, and Iconic Role Model. The award recognizes and acknowledges individuals, organizations, and successful corporate leaders with outstanding performance and achievements in their professions or fields.

Subsequently, there were short sharing sessions by past MRMR recipients, offering insights and experiences from their entrepreneurial journeys. The sharing speakers, who were the recipients of the 2021 MRMR (Malaysia Role Model Recognition) awards, took the stage to offer valuable insights and experiences from their entrepreneurial journeys. Among the esteemed speakers were Jeff Lim, the Executive Director of Rubberex; Nick Tan, Founder of Qlic Solution; Chris Teng, Chief Technology Officer of Webist Pro Solution; and Hoe Chong Wee, Founder of Han On.

In addition, the 2022 MRMEA (Malaysia Role Model Enterprise Award) winner, Just Lorry.com, was recognized for achieving a remarkable turnover of RM200 million in 2022, marking a five to six times increase. Their inspiring stories served as a source of motivation and encouragement for the aspiring young entrepreneurs in attendance.

【青创会举办 ‘2021年青创楷模人物’ 聚餐交流会中马站】

2023年8月1日，马来西亚创业促进会（青创会；PUMM）在吉隆坡八达岭再也的 Copper Mansion Restaurant 举办2021年青创楷模人物（MRMR）聚餐交流会中马站。此次聚餐旨在召集2021年中马范围内的MRMR得奖者，庆祝他们的杰出成就，并向媒体及公众展示他们的创业背景和故事。到场贵宾约40人，其中还包括了MRMEA 2022得奖者、MRMR 2023提名者、各界杰出企业家、各大媒体报社、各州理事及会员。

青创会全国总会长陈礼祥发表欢迎辞，向所有嘉宾和媒体代表表示感谢，感谢他们一直以来对PUMM的大力支持和关注。接着便是楷模人物特辑颁发环节，这本楷模人物特辑的制作历时长达两年，特辑内容详尽地记录了每位楷模人物的成功创业历程，联系资料及更多具有收藏和纪念价值的珍贵内容，展现了他们在各自领域中的卓越成就。这个特辑的发布为年轻创业者提供了极具启发性和学习价值的案例，鼓励更多年轻人在创业的道路上勇往直前。

由PUMM全国署理总会长兼三十周年庆典暨中央理事就职与2023楷模人物表扬典礼筹委会主席马俊豪，介绍2023年马来西亚楷模人物表扬的背景和详情。马俊豪表示，楷模人物表扬是PUMM每两年举办的一项重要活动，旨在表扬那些在各自专业或领域中取得杰出成就、对社会做出卓越贡献的成功人物。此次表扬奖项共分为三大组别，分别是菁英楷模人物、杰出楷模人物和标杆楷模人物。

紧接着，几位2021青创楷模人物进行了简短的分享，分别是来自 Rubberex Corporation (M) Berhad 的执行董事林子立、QLIC Solution 的创办人及董事陈一锋、Webist Pro Sdn Bhd 的技术总监陈芃名，以及恒安有限公司的创办人何崇维。同时，2022 MRMEA马来西亚楷模企业大奖的得奖企业 Just Lorry.com 也进行了分享，该企业在 2022年实现了2亿马币的营业额，增长了5-6倍。
